Do what you love, love what you do.
I say this a lot, but for a good reason. I love the work that I do at my nonprofit job. I would do this work for free, but I appreciate their consideration in compensating me and making my paycheck work with their budget.
When our oral health services project finally launches, we’re going to end up helping so many people. It’s the greatest feeling in the world knowing that every step of this process means that a kid somewhere in Vallejo who has never visited the dentist will get a dental exam, teeth cleaning, sealants & varnishes, and even referral to a dentist, who’ll do basic restorative treatment… for free.
